Tradeify TradingView Setup: Tradovate Requirements & Costs

Connect Tradeify Futures to TradingView through Tradovate. Check compatible accounts, the free integration, subscription differences and execution risks.

The short answer: TradingView connects through Tradovate

Tradeify’s official setup guide says TradingView connects through Tradovate. You need a Tradeify account with Tradovate access, not merely a TradingView subscription. Rithmic and Tradesea accounts cannot use this connection according to the source reviewed on October 16, 2026. This guide concerns Tradeify Futures, not Tradeify FX. Choosing the correct platform at purchase is more useful than discovering incompatibility after receiving credentials.

Requirements before setup

Free integration is not the same as every service being free

Tradeify describes the TradingView integration add-on as free for its users. That is separate from a TradingView subscription: the company’s guide says the free version updates once every five seconds and a TradingView subscription is needed for fully live updates. Do not interpret a free add-on as a promise that every external subscription or future data service is free. Check the actual account’s pricing and data screens before purchasing an additional service.

Set up in an order that avoids account confusion

First log into Tradovate and confirm the intended Tradeify account appears. Follow the official guide to enable the TradingView integration, then choose Tradovate in TradingView’s trading panel. After connecting, match the account number, type and status before entering an order. A working chart does not prove the order panel is connected to the intended account: data may display while execution is disconnected or assigned elsewhere. Do not trade merely because a buy button becomes available.

Check before the first order

Verify the futures contract symbol, expiry and quantity, then reconcile open orders and positions in Tradovate itself. If learning the interface, use a separate practice environment where available; experimenting in the actual account creates real account risk. A continuous chart is not necessarily an executable contract, and micro and full-size contracts do not share one point value. Check the plan’s contract and loss limits as well.

Troubleshooting connection and execution

Check that the account is Tradovate-based, credentials work and the integration is enabled. If an order appears delayed, confirm its status in the underlying platform before sending it again to avoid duplicate exposure. Tradeify’s guide warns that TradingView is independent and API, software and data issues fall outside its support scope; it says affected accounts will not be repaired or adjusted by Tradeify. Maintain an alternative way to access your account, without treating it as an outage guarantee.

Who should use this connection?

It suits a trader wanting TradingView charting and execution who can monitor connection status and contract mapping. Buying TradingView does not make an incompatible account compatible. Confirm the platform choice at checkout and ask support about changes before buying another account. Integration does not waive payout, microscalping or account-count rules. Read the related guides and treat platform readiness as part of risk management, not a substitute for it.
